Job Description

Job Posting: Yoga Instructor (Part-Time / Hourly)

Location: Morgan Park Sports Center

Reports To: Wellness Coordinator

Hourly Rate: $19.00/hour

Position Overview

Morgan Park Sports Center, managed by ASM Global, is seeking a certified and passionate Yoga Instructor to lead group yoga classes in a dynamic, inclusive, and outdoor-friendly environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in teaching yoga to diverse populations and is committed to promoting wellness, mindfulness, and physical health. This is a part-time hourly role requiring a minimum of 2 classes per week, with flexibility for daytime, weekend, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities • Instruct scheduled yoga classes, beginning and ending on time • Provide clear, safe, and engaging instruction for all levels • Educate participants on breathing techniques, proper alignment, and mindfulness • Prepare appropriate music, props, and materials before each session • Offer posture modifications and support to meet individual needs • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive class environment • Ensure class safety and adherence to all facility policies • Report any concerns, incidents, or equipment needs to management • Complete other job responsibility and duties as assigned
